The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office recently released its 2017 Annual Report. The 19-page report recounts events from 2016, including significant cases, a synopsis of the work performed by each division in the office, and the office’s community involvement.
For calendar year 2016, the Prosecutor’s Office was responsible for more than 20,876 cases, including felonies, juvenile cases, adult misdemeanors, and child support cases. In addition, the office provided legal counsel to 30 county agencies, eight townships, and five public libraries.
The Prosecutor’s Office participated in several community events, including National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, National Night Out, and the Blue Ribbon Nite Gala to benefit the Child Advocacy Center of Warren County.
Highlighting its fiscal responsibility, the Prosecutor’s Office returned 3% of its 2016 appropriated budget back to the county general fund. As 2017 begins, the Prosecutor’s Office is committed to further improving efficiency while maintaining the highest level of service to the public.
