Emergency Communications Operator and Calltaker testing has been scheduled for July 20, 2017 at 08:00, 13:00 and 17:00. Testing takes around one hour to complete.

Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

To be considered for hire as an Emergency Communications Operator applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; they must be at least 18 years of age, and; they must possess an Ohio driver’s license.

Candidates selected to begin the hiring process will be asked to take a typing test as well as a series of examinations that test various areas of knowledge and skills.

Interviews will be scheduled for those applicants chosen to move to the next step. Successful candidates will be asked to take a Computer Voice Stress Analysis (CVSA) test.
