Butterworth Road in Hamilton Township Closed Effective Immediately

Lebanon, Ohio – Hamilton Township – Effective immediately, Friday, February 16, 2018, Butterworth Road (CR156) is closed due to embankment failure made worse by heavy rains last night. The closure is in effect indefinitely pending repairs to the embankment. The closure on Butterworth Road is between Ascot Drive and Sibcy Road.

The detour for the closure utilizes Foster-Maineville Road to SR 48 to Butterworth Road.

County Engineers in Ohio are required by law to be registered as both Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Professional Surveyors (P.S.) They are responsible for the maintenance and construction of county roads and maintenance and construction of bridges on county roads, township roads, and certain streets within municipalities.
