County Engineer to close Wilmington Road for Drilled Pier Wall Project on November 12

Lebanon, Ohio – Washington Township – Neil F. Tunison, P.E., P.S., the Warren County Engineer, would like to announce that Wilmington Road (CR7) will be closed 100 feet south of the intersection of Wilmington Road and Corwin Road (Mathers Mill Hill) for a drilled pier wall project. The closure is expected to begin Monday, November 12, 2018, and last for eight (8) weeks, weather permitting.

W.E. Smith Construction was awarded the project which is funded by Warren County Road and Bridge Funds for $134,725.

The detour will be routed using Corwin Road, Olive Branch Road, and Wilmington Road.

County Engineers in Ohio are required by law to be registered as both Professional Engineers (P.E.) and Professional Surveyors (P.S.) They are responsible for the maintenance and construction of county roads and maintenance and construction of bridges on county roads, township roads, and certain streets within municipalities.
