CARRIE LANE

A580715

Inmate Lane has an extensive criminal history beginning in the 1970’s. He has been admitted to the Ohio Department of Corrections on multiple occasions, previously paroled and either violation his parole or committed new felonies which caused his return to prison. While I am sure that you have a complete record before you, it is my understanding that numerous felony convictions include escape, robberies, thefts, kidnapping and rape, burglaries and similar offenses committed throughout the State of Ohio. In our County, in 1991, while the Defendant was an inmate at the Warren Correctional Institution, serving a sentence for Aggravated Burglary from Franklin County, he escaped by hiding inside the trash compartment of a Rumpke dump truck and was driven off the Warren County Correctional Institution by the dump truck employee. He ultimately fled the dump truck in vicinity of I-275 and Colerain Ave, where he was apprehended by law enforcement authorities. In 1992 he was convicted of that Escape, his second escape conviction and sentenced to an indefinite term of eighteen months to five years to run consecutive to all of his other prison sentences.
