The Warren County ABLE program, located in the lower Level of the OhioMeansJobs Warren County, provides programs to prepare adults for the General Equivalency Diploma testing. They also have a program to teach English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), along with classes to teach basic computer skills to those who have never used a computer.

Staff from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is located at the OhioMeansJobs Warren County to aid job seekers in their efforts to find jobs. The staff can look up job orders and make referrals to employers. They are also here at the OhioMeansJobs Warren County to aid employers who are recruiting workers. They can post job openings on the SCOTI and run matches.

The Rehabilitation Services Commission helps by providing services such as evaluation, job training, personal adjustment training, job placement, counseling and follow-up to those with disabilities. Appointments are scheduled at the One-Stop upon request.

They administer the Ohio Works First (Cash Assistance), Food Stamp, Medicaid, S.S.I., Work Activities, Adult Protective and Prevention Retention and Contingency Programs at the county level.

The Veterans Service Commission can assist Veterans and their dependents with basic needs when they run into financial difficulty. Veterans must have served on active duty for reasons other than training and received a discharge under honorable conditions. The types of assistance may include rent, food, utility bills being paid in part or in full, transportation assistance, mental health counseling through the Dayton VA and employment assistance.

The OhioMeansJobs Warren County which is also the Workforce Development Agency in Warren County, provides job preparation assistance to youth, adults and dislocated workers. This may include access to information on jobs, labor market information, computer employability skills and budgeting classes, job search counseling, development of an individual employment plan, information on training programs, and financial assistance information. In some instances, financial assistance for job related training may be appropriate and available.
