Michael Deborde
MICHAEL DEBORDE - CHIEF INVESTIGATOR

Mike joined the Warren County Coroner’s Office in January 2018. He is a 20 year veteran of the Dayton Police Department, where he was a homicide detective, polygrapher and attended the Southern Police Institute. Prior to that, he served eight years in the United States Air Force, part of that time as a criminal investigator. Mike resides in Springboro.


Chad W. Jones
CHAD W. JONES - INVESTIGATOR

Chad W. Jones joined the Coroner’s Office in September of 2022. Chad retired from Dayton Police Department after 21 years. Prior to the Dayton Police Department Chad also worked for the Carlisle and Franklin Police Departments. During his law enforcement career Chad served in the Patrol Division, Police Academy, Motorcycle Squad, Domestic Violence Unit, CARE house Unit, Narcotics Squad, Violent Crimes Bureau and Homicide Squad. After Chad graduated from Carlisle High School, he served in the United States Marine Corps as a gunsmith and as a Security Forces Marine in the White House Military Office. Chad and his family now reside in the city of Lebanon.


Christopher Pancake
CHRISTOPHER PANCAKE - INVESTIGATOR

Chris joined the Warren County Coroner’s office in August 2021. He had served as a police officer for the Village of Waynesville and City of Franklin. While serving as a police officer he was certified as/in Evidence Technician, Firearms Instructor, Death Investigation, Cult and Satanic Crimes investigation, and Advanced Child Abuse/Exploitation Investigations. He also received his Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Miami University. He resides in Wayne Township with his family.


Amy Deborde
AMY DEBORDE - ADMINISTRATOR

Amy has worked with the Warren County Coroner’s Office since May 2016. She previously worked for the City of Springboro and Montgomery County. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. Amy resides in Springboro.
