Important COVID-19 Court Announcement

This update is provided by Clerk of Courts Jim Spaeth as of Friday, May 15, 2020 and pertains to certain operations between now and June 1, 2020:

Common Pleas Division: The Common Pleas Court Office has returned to normal working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the 500 Justice Drive Courts Building in Lebanon. Staffing is reduced and customers are still not to approach the main counter but will be taken care of while still maintaining physical distancing recommendations.

Motor Vehicle/Watercraft Title Division: We are increasing our presence in the workplace, returning staff to all our offices in the county on Monday, May 18th. We will be maintaining a 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule in the Lebanon, Franklin and Mason Title offices through Friday, May 22nd, taking work from both dealers and the public.

It is important to maintain physical distancing while in the offices and we would ask anyone who is not directly involved in any transactions to refrain from entering our offices. Please respect and adhere to the limits of the number of customers at any one time who can be accommodated in each office.

All Warren County Title offices will return to our regular schedule of Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to Noon beginning Tuesday, May 26th – the same day the BMV License Services offices are allowed to reopen.

Passport application processing is still suspended temporarily by the U.S. State Department’s Passport Agency. For more information concerning a special need for a passport please go to their website http://travel.state.gov/passport/. When we do return to processing passport applications, unfortunately, we will not be providing our normal passport photo service immediately.

County Court Division: Our County Court Office at 822 Memorial Drive in Lebanon continues to operate on a Monday-Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The exception is on Tuesdays and Thursdays when the closing time depends on when Court is over. However, beginning June 1st, the Court will return to normal hours of operations.

Thank you for your understanding and continue to stay safe as we venture out more and more.

"The Public is not dependent on us, but rather we on them. The pledge of the Clerk of Courts is to provide quality service with efficiency and courtesy."

We look forward to serving you!
