All-hazards planning, mitigation, response, and recovery are the cornerstones of a comprehensive emergency management program. All agencies and jurisdictions should have Continuity of Operations (COOP)/ Continuity of Government (COG) plans in place to ensure their operations can continue in the event of an emergency.

Warren County Emergency Management Agency would like to share guidance to assist local jurisdictions and agencies to complete a COOP/COG plan.

The COOP Plan Template will help your jurisdiction or agency plan for critical tasks – such as employee notification and communication, retrieval of essential records and equipment, and prompt relocation – that will help ensure the continuity of operations and minimal disruption of essential functions during an Emergency Management created guidance to assist local jurisdictions and agencies to complete a COOP/COG plan.
