Andrew Sievers is a Magistrate in Juvenile and Probate Court. Andrew joined the Court in July 2013, after serving 15 years in the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office. While with the Prosecutor’s Office, Andrew was an Assistant Prosecutor, first assigned to the juvenile division then in the felony division, Andrew prosecuted many high profile cases and was appointed First Assistant. Before the Prosecutor’s Office, Andrew was a litigation attorney in the law firms of Bogin, Patterson and Bogin and the Law Offices of Patrick K. Dunphy.
Andrew and his wife live in Warren County, and have 2 adult children. During college Andrew was a firefighter and EMT with the Loveland Fire Department. After graduating from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Andrew served 5 years as a police officer with Huber Heights Police Department. Andrew also graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law.
Andrew’s hobbies include outdoor activities of whitewater kayaking, hiking, and camping.
Andrew has been active in his community through service on the Board of Big Brother’s Big Sisters, and Board of New Housing Opportunities. Andrew has been an adult leader with Boy Scouts, member of Rotary Club, coach for many community sports, and advisor to school groups. Andrew is an active member of St. Henry Parish and the Knights of Columbus.
Andrew has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Ohio Southern District Court, and the Courts in Ohio. Andrew is a member of the Warren County Bar Association and the Ohio Association of Magistrates.
