Mission and Purpose Statement

The mission of the Warren County Records Center & Archives is to serve the public through the protection, preservation and access to public records that document the activities and functions of Warren County government.

To this end, the Warren County Records Center & Archives will:

  • Identify, collect, appraise, organize, and preserve records of enduring value, in all formats, as created by the elected officials, administrators, and employees of Warren County, and those records that enhance the story of these collections.
  • Provide Warren County agencies with professional and knowledgeable records management services;
  • Support the public and other governmental agencies through prompt and accurate responses to administrative and research requests;
  • Promote programs, goals, and resources of the Records Center & Archives to increase public awareness and appreciation for Warren County history.
